    As I start this essay, I hope that I can completely know the difference between montage and continuity editing. Besides that, the techniques of the ‘Requiem for A Dream’ I also wish to understand and its story behind. Requiem for a Dream is a 2000 American psychological drama film directed by Darren Aronofsky and starring Ellen Burstyn, Jared Leto, Jennifer Connelly, and Marlon Wayans. The film depicts four different forms of drug addiction, which lead to the characters’ imprisonment in a world of delusion and reckless desperation that is subsequently overtaken by reality, thus leaving them as hollow shells of their former selves.     As my opinion, the theory and technique included in this film are montage editing, spilt screen shot, extreme close up (ECU) shot and boom shot.     At 17th January 2018, our lecturer shows us a film which called 'Seoul Station'. I think that this film is talk about the team spirit among the community when I see this film, but I think wrong already. However, this film also got some parts that I like.     At the first if this film, Hye sun’s boyfriend who called Ki woong upload her photo onto the internet and called her to prostitute. This is because he doesn’t have money already. I think that this boy was not responsible and hypocrisy because he can push his girlfriend to prostitute for money but he don’t want working by himself. However, I realise that he really love Hye sun in the process that he find her because he feel nervous about her situation. In the finally, he still want to protect his girlfriend although he already killed by the bad man. This part reflecst the warm and love between the Hye sun and Ki woong.
